How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Bronies go nuts, and Nintendo Sucks?Equestria Girls
The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.
I'm sure the movie won't be as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It honest

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

So I played the original Half Life for the first time. I'm hoping to play the rest of the series in time to join in the collective disappointment over the lack of Half Life 3.

Eden of the East. Watched the series and two movies. It starts strong and remains relatively entertaining throughout, but a lot of the characters are useless and the unnecessarily complicated plot just fell to pieces by the end, leaving too much unanswered or unexplained. Thanks to having the same designer, it also felt like I was watching the Honey & Clover characters in a parallel universe.

I'm tinkering with some pony animation in Flash; does anyone know of any pre-made talking mouth symbol kits for Shining Armor (or any other stallion)? I grabbed a body base for Shining out of ~Drud14's resource kit, but I need more mouths.

There was an area where you're outside, going up the side of a cliff, and you finally reach a small platform at the top with a vent where you can go back inside. I'd just obtained the grenade launcher, so into the vent I g- HEAD CRAB! BOOM!

I did the same thing last year. Played Half-Life, then Half-Life 2. And Half-Life 2 was actually somewhat disappointing to me, it felt a run-of-the-mill shoot 'em up. I love HL1 though, and I'm holding out hope for HL3.
