Sakuyamon Revisited

Was looking at this old piece and wanted to do an "update" on the concept. I also came across this lately and was inspired to try some of the concepts it illustrates; I've always been aware of color theory, but never paid scrutinous attention to it during the composition of a piece. It's great to experiment in Illustrator too, what with the ability to precisely recolor everything on the fly.

Hands are still difficult, as is foreshortening.
